Acceptable Use

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes permitted and prohibited uses of the WeliAI Service and forms part of the Terms of Service.

1. Guiding Principle

WeliAI is intended to support lawful, authorized, research-only modeling and scenario-analysis workflows. It is not intended for clinical, diagnostic, treatment, financial, legal, operational, or patient-specific decision-making.

2. Permitted Uses

You may use the Service to:

  • conduct research-only scenario analysis and quantitative modeling workflows
  • explore structured scientific and technical modeling questions with explicit assumptions
  • support research planning, methodological exploration, hypothesis generation, and academic discussion
  • interpret authorized non-clinical datasets and research artifacts

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service for any of the following:

Clinical or patient-specific use

  • providing medical advice
  • diagnosing any individual
  • recommending or selecting treatment for any individual
  • prescribing therapy or medication
  • triaging patients
  • supporting bedside, emergency, or urgent clinical decisions

Regulated or unauthorized data use

  • uploading PHI or patient-identifying data unless WeliAI has expressly agreed in writing to process such data under an appropriate agreement
  • uploading personal data without authorization or lawful basis
  • using data in violation of privacy law, ethics approvals, IRB requirements, contractual duties, or institutional policy

Security abuse and system probing

  • probing, scanning, or testing the Service for vulnerabilities without authorization
  • bypassing authentication, authorization, or rate limits
  • reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code, hidden prompts, model instructions, or non-public APIs
  • scraping, overloading, or disrupting the Service
  • uploading malware, exploit payloads, or harmful code

Misrepresentation of outputs

  • presenting outputs as clinically validated conclusions
  • representing outputs as medical advice or guaranteed predictions
  • obscuring disclaimers, limitations, uncertainty, or provenance associated with outputs

Illegal, harmful, or abusive conduct

  • violating applicable law
  • infringing intellectual property or confidentiality rights
  • submitting harassing, discriminatory, abusive, or otherwise harmful content
  • facilitating wrongdoing or misuse through the Service

4. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and may suspend, restrict, terminate, or otherwise limit access to the Service where appropriate.
